Adam works to positively impact the conditions for people at risk due to conflict or crisis through his role as CTO and technical adviser for multiple global initiatives focusing on undeserved communities. In this capacity, as well as through his prior work, he has been instrumental in multiple external funding cycles, with particular experience in social impact investing and U.S. government grants. As a full-time associate professor, Adam is also a dedicated educator of the next generation of engineers, focusing on how to use engineering to bring impact and opportunity to all through appropriate applications of technology. Adam has 12 patents awarded or pending and numerous academic publications, all with a focus on real solutions to real problems. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville.
