Compliance Specialist
Karla Maynard joined University of Washington CoMotion as an Invoice Specialist in 2021 and grew into the role of Compliance Specialist as her responsibilities expanded. Her experience focuses on intellectual property licensing, contract compliance, financial operations, and stakeholder support. Prior to joining UW, Karla spent over a decade with Sherwin-Williams in store management and district financial operations, supporting business performance, customer relationships, and financial processes. Karla graduated from Florida A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. She enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new places, and contributing to initiatives that build connection and community.
