ULTRABIO TECHNOLOGIES is an in-vitro diagnostics company with a best in class HIV-1 Total DNA quantification kit, capable of detecting and monitoring latent HIV infections. Currently available assay kits lack the level of sensitivity needed to accurately quantify viral copy numbers for individuals in the early stages of infection or who have received anti-retroviral therapy. This limits the effectiveness of clinical studies and represents a major obstacle to understanding viral clearance and predicting when anti-retroviral therapy interruption is acceptable. UltraBio’s goal is to improve therapeutic outcomes, assist in disease prognosis and generate insights towards finding a permanent cure for HIV/AIDS patients.
