What is your startup all about?
NewHomes.House provides a better way to DREAM l DESIGN l BUILD new homes. We are disrupting the nation’s oldest industry by bringing the pre-tech residential home-building process into the modern era for home buyers, home builders, lenders, title and escrow professionals, and other service providers. NewHomes.House streamlines and simplifies how new homes are designed, priced, financed, and built.
On our platform, homebuyers follow a simple four-step process to design their dream home, locate property for sale in the U.S., finance their new home with national or local construction financing, and build with confidence using one of our local, certified home builders.
What problem do you solve?
NewHomes.House eliminates the chaos, confusion, and uncertainty for new home buyers by creating a simple and streamlined process to build their dream home and providing technology tools that provide transparency and peace of mind during the build.
What’s the latest?
Recently we launched our official website and have already brought in over $100K in revenue. Our fundraising venture has provided a lot of positive feedback and we hope to close our seed round shortly. During this process, we have refined our focus, discovered new opportunities, and added partners to our platform.
Startup Advice from Todd J. Sullivan: There will be dark days. Those are the days you must charge even harder, with a deep faith and commitment that your hard work and perseverance will lead to success. It is all within you. Success, failure – what starts in your mind manifests itself with your attitude and work ethic. You can succeed. Have faith (and get a second job if you need it!).
Startup Advice from Steve Strom: There is nothing like building a company from the ground up. The highs are higher (and the lows are lower). Surround yourself with good people and get out of their way. Be coachable and be a team player. Always share the credit. Get a mentor (or several) and plug into your entrepreneurial community. Prioritize, prioritize, prioritize. If everything is Priority One, you haven’t prioritized. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the journey!
