Company:  Iasis Molecular Sciences – Iasis Molecular Sciences Inc. (“IMS”) is an infection-prevention materials company founded in 2008 following the discovery of novel antiseptics with applications to wound healing and medical device protection. Our solutions for preventing infections and controlling them are applicable across many industries, such as Medical Devices, Paints and Coatings Manufacturing, Ocean & Coastal Transportation, and Antimicrobial Textiles. Our patented science has been developed over the years with $6 million in grant funding.

What problem do you solve? Healthcare-associated and community-acquired infections are an epidemic and increasingly difficult to treat. Our solutions target some of the most costly concerns.

What’s the latest? We are in the process of raising capital in order to expand operations and commercialize the IMS family of products!

Startup Advice: When it comes to spending, you have to be conservative. Don’t over pay yourself and don’t hire too many people. Grow organically.
