Ten companies from the UW startup ecosystem pitched to investors at our biannual CoMotion DubPitch event held last month at Maple Hall near the UW campus. DubPitch gives investors the opportunity to learn more about UW spinoffs and CoMotion supported startups, and allows UW researchers and startups to make valuable connections to investors who have the potential to fuel their businesses.
This fall, the event featured startups from the clean energy, predictive analytics, and biotech sectors. A highly anticipated event by the thriving Seattle entrepreneurial community, investors in attendance included representatives from GreenBridge, Microsoft, SeaChange Fund, Trilogy Equity Partners, Venture Advisors, Voyager Capital, Vulcan, WRF Capital and more.
The startups each had ten minutes to give their pitch to attendees. Afterward, investors mingled with the startups to learn more about the exciting businesses they are building.
Our next CoMotion DubPitch will be held in spring 2020. Investors interested in attending may contact us here.
