PET/X adds a positron emission tomography (PET) imaging to an X-ray mammography scanner to help choose the most effective breast cancer therapy. By accelerating the introduction of improved therapies for cancer and reducing costs of cancer therapy and drug development, PET/X aims to improve patient outcomes.
