Improving the safety of urinary catheters
CathConnect began as a senior capstone project in the Engineering Innovation in Health Program at the University of Washington, Department of Mechanical Engineering. During the program, we addressed the pressing unmet need presented by Dr. Weiss. We built a fully functional device along side healthcare providers to meet their core needs.
Through success at competitions and securing grant funding, we were able to transform our idea into something more.
