Nora Disis is a professor of medicine and director of the Cancer Vaccine Institute at UW Medicine, among many other leadership roles. She leads research in cancer immunotherapy, particularly breast and ovarian cancers. Her work on cancer vaccines is transforming cancer treatment and prevention. She holds 40+ patents, including influential advances in the development of vaccines for breast and ovarian cancer.
