The CoMotion Postdoctoral Entrepreneurship Program and the UW Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering’s Entrepreneurial Fellows Program (EFP) have joined forces to help UW researchers transform lab discoveries into real‑world ventures. This year’s program supported Jared Nakahara, whose acoustic‑levitation platform automates droplet handling in lab experiments, and Sen Zhang, whose smart textile sleeve supports wearable sensing for rehabilitation. Together, the programs are shaping the next wave of UW‑based innovators.
