Friday, February 16th (9am-12pm)
Wednesday, February 28th (1pm-5pm)
Your team’s Primary Investigator is strongly encouraged to attend a Round Robin Feedback Session during the month of February. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm when you will be able to attend. This will help us to ensure there are enough advisors on-hand for all participants.
Monday, March 5 AND Wednesday, March 14 -- Times TBA
In order to help with customer discovery, we will be holding a ZAP! workshop which we *strongly* encourage you to attend. ZAP! is based on the successful National Science Foundation Innovation Corps (I-Corps) methods of accelerating the translation of university engineering research to the marketplace.
Teams that complete ZAP!, will be invited to participate remotely in a follow on workshop which would move them toward eligibility to apply for a $50,000 NSF I-Corps grant.
ZAP! will be offered in two parts:
March 5 and March 14.
If you choose to participate, attendance for both sessions is required. Times for the sessions will be scheduled according to interest, but please hold a 3-4 hour block on both days if you intend to participate.
Friday, March 16th (5pm)
Obtaining customer feedback is a vital part of validating the market need, identifying early adopters, and determining potential buyers. You will be required to describe the customer landscape and provide specific customer feedback as part of the application process. Your advisor and Innovation Fund Fellow can help you to draft a customer survey and help identify customer contacts.
Tuesday, March 6th (1pm-4:30pm)
Monday, March 12th (9am-12pm)
Wednesday, March 21st (9am-12pm)
Friday, March 30th (1pm-4:30pm)
The team PI must attend a Screening Pitch Session during the month of March. Email email@example.com to select a 30 minute appointment time.
