Who: Greg Adams, CEO; Chris Hurst, COO
Stabilitas – The AI-Powered Threat Intelligence Ecosystem. We provide an all-in-one, easy solution to manage the safety of people, facilities & company assets. If it has a GPS (like a cell-phone) or a location on a map, we give companies the ability to track it and know if it’s safe.
We’re innovating in the tech space to integrate crowd-sourced expertise, propriety machine learning technology, targeted threat detection, visual reporting in real time, and the ability to communicate with specific teams on multiple channels.

What problem do you solve?
We automate intelligence gathering, simplify risk management, and enable multi-channel communications for corporate security teams. In the age of “big data” and “fake news”, finding relevant information quickly is more challenging than ever. And, in an emergency, every second counts.
Our machine learning algorithm sorts through tens of thousands of news, social media, government and analyst sources, using semantic analysis to very quickly identify pieces of intelligence that are most relevant in a physical security crisis like an extreme weather event or terrorist attack.
We work mostly with physical security teams at medium and large enterprise companies, helping their operations centers understand the threat landscape, particularly in the realm of physical security. Whoever our client may be, we get the right Information to the right person at the right time, so that they can take the steps necessary to protect themselves and their teams.
Both CEO, Greg Adams and COO, Chris Hurst, have distinguished military careers.
Greg was a Special Forces Team Leader in western Afghanistan. He was responsible for coordinating with multiple types of organizations – from government to NGO to business – from US to Afghanistan to NATO partners.
During his service he constantly wished he had a common operating picture to support a common operating environment, particularly for keeping people safe. Nothing like that existed so, naturally, he decided to build it.
Chris Hurst and Greg Adams are graduates from West Point (Class of 2001) and the same Policy/Data Science/Business program at Harvard (Class of 2013 & 2014 respectively).
Because of our military & NGO backgrounds, and our knowledge of the security landscape, Chris and I are uniquely suited for this work. We speak ‘Security’ and ‘Tech’ – which are both really their own languages.
We are quickly scaling our annual recurring revenue while maintaining a 90% retention rate in the corporate physical security niche. We’ve also recently updated our demo to show more clearly how Stabilitas is unifying organizational silos with a single security platform.
So far, it’s made a huge impact during demo sessions!
In terms of new customers, we’re excited to announce that we’ve recently added Amazon, Proctor and Gamble, and Merck to our client portfolio.
And, lastly, we’re hiring!
Specifically, we’re looking to expand our sales team. If you’re a B2B sales rockstar and are interested in a career with a company whose product saves lives, visit our Careers page.
Never forget that the mission matters – so get crystal clear on your long-term vision and then figure out a way to get there.
Our mission is to tackle some of the most world’s most challenging – and important – threats. And employees want to be a part of that high stakes solution which, at the end of the day, is really all about saving lives & keeping people safe.
Our customers like our mission too; they trust us with their company’s security infrastructure and the safety of their people & assets.
Why do you love CoMotion Labs?
Even though we’re a startup, we needed a professional space where we could meet discreetly with clients. The CoMotion Labs team worked with us to find a great location. Though, I think we might need to expand soon!
