NSF I-Corp Bootcamp Sessions

Milestone 1: Register and Complete the First Challenge

Teams and solopreneurs in this program must be ready to spend several hours per week working on their project over the 6 weeks of the program.

Initial challenge

On January 4th, teams/solopreneurs will receive a short training on how to do customer discovery and will be asked to find and interview three people in their ecosystem by January 10th at midnight. Interview summaries will be submitted with the I-Corps teaching team. This challenge is meant to test your ability to commit the time necessary for the program, and leverage all resources at your disposal to reach potential customers. Teams who successfully complete this assignment will be invited to continue to the main program.

What if I do not make it through?

Teams who cannot complete this assignment are encouraged to circle back with the I-Corps teaching team who can help them identify and connect with missing resources so they can successfully participate in a future cohort. Entrepreneurship is a hard path, and sometimes to make it you may need a little more time to assemble the network and resources you need, or to make the time in your life to commit to the journey. We run cohorts twice per year and we can put you in touch with other universities who have I-Corps programs when you reach readiness.
