Conrado Tapado has 15+ years of industry experience in marketing and communications, particularly within the B2B space. He has a deep understanding of audiences, metrics, content strategy, branding, messaging, and multi-platform storytelling.
At CoMotion, Conrado has been part of a team working with a renowned brand experience design agency to provide insight into the discovery process for the C4C to CoMotion rebranding initiative. He has overseen the transition of the CoMotion website from the WordPress to Drupal platform. He ensures larger UMAC (University of Washington Marketing and Communications) standards are met within the department, and maintains CoMotion branding consistency across electronic and print collateral. In addition, he has developed a content generation and multi-platform distribution strategy across the CoMotion website and social media properties.
Previously, Conrado was at Univision, the #1 Spanish-language TV network in the US, where he used audience analytics and syndicated research data to reveal multilingual and multicultural media and consumer trends. At the Seattle Times, Conrado used numerous media monitoring tools to find efficiencies in media and marketing plans, while adhering to strict branding standards and guidelines. As a content manager at Expedia, Conrado led a team of editors and writers to create content for properties across the Asia Pacific region. As director of marketing and external relations for the Greater Seattle Business Association, Conrado developed B2B branding and messaging strategies for the LGBTQ and allied business community.
Conrado has a BA in Language Studies (Linguistics) from the University of California at Santa Cruz, an AAS in Commercial Photography from Seattle Central College, and a Master of Communications in Digital Media degree from the University of Washington.
