Chris Igielski supports CoMotion's efforts to help UW become an increasingly effective engine of economic development. His current projects include procuring crucial early stage private capital for UW start-up companies, analyzing legislation, and benchmarking best U.S. practices for university economic development. He joined CoMotion as a technology manager in 2008. Before that, he was a sole practitioner attorney, with experience in both litigation and transactional law. Earlier in his career, he gained chemical engineering and business experience as the technical director and later general manager of Adhesives Technology Corporation. While an undergrad at the University of Washington, he served as president of the ASUW.
