His career has included working as a startup attorney, impact investor, and startup entrepreneur, most recently as cofounder and COO of Elevator (GoElevator.com), the marketplace for teams of developers and tech talent to get hired together.
Brian previously was founder and CEO of Impact Hub Seattle, which under his leadership in 2014 was the fastest growing community and coworking space of impact entrepreneurs in the world. His previous work includes launching, growing, and selling one of the first B Corp certified law firms, with a clientele ranging from government agencies planning interplanetary chambers of commerce to one of the most active impact investors in India. He also cofounded First Aid Arts, an NGO that developed and distributes arts therapy toolkits and training for trauma aftercare providers.
Brian has taught graduate level courses on social justice, social enterprise law, and business management.
